FFY 2013 Abbreviated Model State Plan

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low-income households, particularly those with the lowest incomes that pay a high proportion of household income for home energy, in meeting their immediate home energy needs. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Act of 1981, as amended, was included as part of the Coats Human Services Reauthorization Act of 1998, P. L. 105-285.

A public hearing for the FFY 2013 LIHEAP Abbreviated Model State Plan was held August 13, 2012, at the Governor’s Office Building Room 450, Jefferson City, Missouri from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m..

The final version of the FFY 2013 LIHEAP Abbreviated Model State Plan has been approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
