State of Missouri FFY 2016 LIHEAP Model State Plan

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low-income households, particularly those with the lowest incomes that pay a high proportion of household income for home energy, in meeting their immediate home energy needs. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Act of 1981, as amended, was included as part of the Coats Human Services Reauthorization Act of 1998, P. L. 105-285.

A public hearing for the FFY 2016 LIHEAP Model State Plan was held July 28, 2015 at the Governor Office Building, Jefferson City, MO from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m.

The final version of the FFY 2016 LIHEAP Model State Plan has been approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
