Adult Dental and Optical Services Remain a Covered Benefit
Medicaid continues reimbursement for dental and optical benefits for Medicaid/MC+ adults. The state remains under preliminary injunction court orders that restored coverage of prescription eyeglasses for Medicaid/MC+ eligible adults effective February 24, 2003 and restored dental benefits for adults on August 21,2002.
Adults are individuals 21 years of age or older.
Optical providers should reference the March 21, 2003 Optical Bulletin.
Dental providers should reference the October 8, 2002 Dental Bulletin.
