MO HealthNet Managed Care allows you to choose your MO HealthNet Managed Care health plan and Primary Care Provider. Your Primary Care Provider is the doctor, nurse practitioner, or clinic you call when you need general health care services. Your Primary Care Provider will get to know you, keep track of your medical history, and will refer you to specialists and services (such as laboratory tests) when you need them.

Your Primary Care Provider must be enrolled with the MO HealthNet Managed Care health plan that you choose.
