Out of School Time
Out of School Time (OST) supports working parents by providing high quality extended learning, social, recreational, and personal life skills development for low-income students in high poverty urban areas during non-school hours. OST provides supervision and a safe, positive, environment for children after school when the parents aren't available.
What is Out of School Time?
Out of School Time (OST) develops partnerships between families, school, and communities. The goal of OST is to provide children with access to safe, healthy environments, and enriching learning activities during non-school hours. OST also helps develop relationships between the children and consistent adults in their life. OST also provides child care to support working parents.
