Work registration is required for individuals over age 15 and under age 60 (ages 16-59) unless the individual is exempt from work requirements. Work registration is the registration of job ready, non-exempt, EU members for employment. EU members are considered registered for work and meet the federal work registration requirement when they have been assigned the appropriate employment assessment code.

Assess all EU members at every application and reapplication to determine their current work registration status. The individual who signs the FS application must provide information on all household members over the age of 15 and under the age of 60 to determine work registrants, and registers all household members who are required to register for work.
