IM-#82      10/09/09

DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES
FAMILY SUPPORT DIVISION
P.O. BOX 2320
JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI
TO:
ALL COUNTY OFFICES
FROM:
ALYSON CAMPBELL, DIRECTOR
SUBJECT:
ADULT MO HEALTHNET FAMIS PILOT

DISCUSSION:

Adult MO HealthNet (ADM) is scheduled to be piloted in FAMIS in Texas and Wright Counties beginning October 13, 2009. The purpose of the pilot is to ensure that the new system model is ready to be implemented and to ensure all processes are running smoothly. In order to have a successful pilot, the system must have a stable environment. To ensure the success of the pilot, it is imperative that no Adult MO HealthNet (ADM) cases be converted to FAMIS during the pilot, and no Adult MO HealthNet (ADM) applications be registered in FAMIS until further notice. The only exceptions are:

A block has been added to prevent Texas and Wright counties from registering applications in Legacy and a block has been added to prevent non converted counties from registering applications in FAMIS. State Office staff will be monitoring the Manual Conversion List (MCL) daily to ensure Adult MO HealthNet (ADM) cases that should not be converted are not converted into FAMIS. If a case is placed on the MCL, and it is not a Texas or Wright County case, State Office staff will remove the "Y" to convert the case. State Office staff will also monitor Adult MO HealthNet (ADM) applications taken in FAMIS. State Office staff will contact county and regional administration to determine if there is a reason the case should have been converted or the application taken. Staff will be notified when Adult MO HealthNet (ADM) cases can be converted and new applications can be taken in FAMIS.
