Subject: Computer Bids
Effective immediately, all bids for
computers and adaptive equipment from vendors SHALL INCLUDE installation and
set up. We have been seeing examples of "special charges" from
vendors for set up, installation, travel time, etc., that were not included in
original bid costs. This kind of situation undermines the competitive bid
process and makes it difficult to control miscellaneous costs.
