Chapter 2 - Definitions

The following definitions are used in this rule:

(A) Applicant is an individual who has applied for vocational rehabilitation services and whose eligibility for services has not been determined;

(B) RSB is the designated state unit that is referred to in 34 CFR 361.1(c)(2), 361.5(b)(3) and 361.6(b)

(C). The designated state unit is referred to in this rule as RSB;

(D) Client assistance project is a federally funded, statewide program that is available to advise all applicants and eligible individuals of all services available from RSB and to assist applicants and eligible individuals in their relationships with RSB and other providers of vocational rehabilitation services, including appropriate remedies to ensure the protection of applicant and eligible individual rights;

(E) Deputy director, Family Support Division/RSB is the state unit director referred to in 34 CFR 361.8. The state unit director is referred to in this rule as the deputy director;

(F) Family Support Division is the sole state agency referred to in 34 CFR 361.1(a). The sole state agency is referred to in this rule as the division;
