Home & Community Based Services Enrollment

The MO HealthNet Division’s (MHD) enrollment of home and community-based providers plays an integral role in allowing the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) to provide home and community-based services (HCBS) to eligible individuals who wish to remain in a community setting. Home and community-based providers must make assurances regarding compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and orders related to the provision of services.

All potential Consumer Directed Services (CDS) and In-Home Services (IHS) providers must submit a proposal outlining their business practices and demonstrating an ability to serve the needs of the populations served by DHSS. Currently enrolled IHS and CDS providers’ participation agreements are valid for five (5) years.  Providers can check their revalidation date by reviewing their participation agreements.
