FCSR Registration Fee Increase
Effective October 1, 2026, the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s criminal record search fee will increase by $1, to $16, due to a change in statute. As a result, the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) worker registration fee will also increase to $16, effective October 1, 2026.
An individual worker may register with the FCSR online or by mailing a completed Worker Registration Form, a photocopy of their Social Security card, and the applicable registration fee to DHSS (address on the form). The Worker Registration form on the FCSR Forms webpage will be updated to reflect the changes once effective.
The DHSS FCSR Unit will not process paper Worker Registration forms submitted with the incorrect fee if postmarked after October 1, 2026.
An additional credit/debit card processing fee of $0.57 will be applied to online registrations, for a total of $16.57.
