MO HealthNet Fee Schedules Are Getting Easier!
The MO HealthNet Division (MHD) will soon launch redesigned Fee Schedule and Rate List webpages to make it faster and easier for providers to find necessary reimbursement details. Currently, this information is spread across multiple webpages. MHD will consolidate these resources into a single, unified location using a two-step layout.
Once the update is live, providers visiting the MO HealthNet Fee Schedules will accept the required disclaimer and navigate a simplified two-step process:
- Centralized Guidance: The main landing page will hold all general Fee Schedule information, Rate Lists, the Fee Schedule Crosswalk, and other helpful information. MHD is adding interactive drop-down menus so providers can jump straight to the specific information without scrolling through a long page.
- Combined Fee Schedules and Rate Lists: Providers will click the download button on the main landing page to access all Fee Schedules and Rate List files. These resources will be combined into one single location.
Regardless of layout changes, providers must continue to verify participant eligibility on the specific date of service through eMOMED or by calling Provider Communications at (833) 222-7916 before providing services. Provider must also continue to cross-reference Fee Schedules with program-specific Provider Manuals for complete billing rules, modifiers, and documentation requirements.
