Provider Enrollment Update
Effective September 16, 2026, responsibility for provider enrollment activities will transition from the Missouri Medicaid Audit and Compliance Division (MMAC) to the MO HealthNet Division (MHD). This move is intended to streamline and improve coordination of provider enrollment activities, while allowing MMAC to focus on compliance, fraud, waste, and abuse.
MHD will update websites, forms, notices, email addresses, and any other contact information requiring a change. These changes should be minimal, such as changing references to “MMAC Provider Enrollment” to “MHD Provider Enrollment”. Additional information will be provided as the transition progresses.
Providers should continue to follow current provider enrollment requirements and procedures. Applications or updates already submitted will continue to be worked as usual and you should see no break in service.
