Provider Update Meetings

While all Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) providers are welcome to attend the Provider Update Meeting, annual attendance is mandatory for IHS Designated Managers and a certified CDS Manager to maintain their certification. Missing an annual session will invalidate their certification and they will be required to retake and pass the test to regain certification.

  • October 22, 2026, 9:00am to 1:00pm

WebEx Webinar Registration and Attendance Guide

IMPORTANT: Read the following registration instructions carefully

 

  • Host & Platform: The MO HealthNet Division (MHD) hosts this Provider Update Meeting online via WebEx. You must attend the specific date you registered for to have proof of attendance for your IHS Designated Manager or certified CDS Manager requirements.
  • Mandatory Pre-Registration: Attendance requires pre-registration; unregistered individuals cannot join. Complete the online registration form accurately and completely, checking all spelling. Registration links for sessions will be posted 30 days prior to the meeting date. 
  • Unique Email Requirement: Use a valid, unique email address specific to the person registering. Multiple people cannot use the same email address. This email address will receive all meeting reminders and automated updates from messenger@webex.com. (Note: Avoid using email addresses ending in att.net, sbcglobal.net, or prodigy.net, as these carriers often block automated WebEx emails.)
  • Confirmation & Calendar Setup: After confirming your registration, click the DONE button. You will immediately receive a confirmation email with an option to add the meeting to your calendar—you must accept this notification (click the green checkmark at the top of the page) so the join link is saved to your calendar as a backup.
  • Missing Confirmations: If your confirmation does not arrive immediately, check your Junk or Spam folder. If it is missing entirely, contact MHD at MHD.IHSContracts@dss.mo.gov on the day you register. MHD cannot resend links on the morning of the event because links are generated directly by WebEx, and you cannot join without the email's "Join Now" button.
  • WebEx Preparation: If you do not have WebEx set up or the app downloaded, the system will prompt you. Familiarize yourself with WebEx ahead of time and use the WebEx Help Center for technical or access questions.

Joining the Meeting:

  • Phone-only restriction: Call-in users who join by phone only without logging into WebEx will not receive attendance credit.
  • Early arrival: Do not wait until the start time to join. The virtual room opens at least 20 minutes prior to the start; logging in early prevents entrance delays caused by a high volume of simultaneous attendees.
