Welcome to the DSS Human Resource Center (HRC)!

The Department of Social Services Human Resource Center (HRC) guides human resources management for the department’s 6,500+ employees. HRC is responsible for coordinating activities in the areas of:

• Personnel law
• Labor relations
• Recruitment
• Selection
• Classification
• Compensation
• Training

HRC is also responsible for:

• Provision of equal services and benefits to all DSS clients
• Union negotiations
• Resolution administration
• Administering the employee grievance system
• All aspects of equal employment opportunities
