Drug Utilization Review Board Mission Statement

The mission of the MO HealthNet Drug Utilization Review Board (DUR) is to enhance the quality of evidence-based, clinically appropriate and fiscally responsible patient care for Missouri’s most vulnerable citizens using:

• Evidence-based clinical information and established quality measures;
• Prospective and retrospective analysis of drug therapies and patient care to encourage positive patient outcomes;
• Targeted health care provider education centered around appropriate patient care and drug therapy.
