Direct Deposit

The Department of Social Services (DSS) encourages the use of direct deposit for all clients, vendors, and providers receiving payments from DSS. Direct deposit is a safe and reliable way to receive payments and eliminates the possibility of lost or stolen checks. With direct deposit, there are no mail delays and no check cashing fees to pay.

What is Project Hep Cure?

Project Hep Cure is an initiative to cure hepatitis C by making prescription MAVYRET® available to all MO HealthNet participants at no cost. MAVYRET® is an 8-week* treatment that is proven to cure hepatitis C 98 percent of the time. Anyone who has MO HealthNet coverage and has tested positive for hepatitis C is eligible for treatment.

*Standard 8-week treatment is used for eligible patients as determined by their healthcare provider

What is hepatitis C?

According to the CDC, hepatitis C is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). It spreads through contact with blood from someone with hepatitis C. Over half of those who have hepatitis C suffer long-term, life-threatening health problems like cirrhosis (liver scarring) and liver cancer. It is possible to have hepatitis C and not experience symptoms.
