- What is continuous eligibility for children?
Starting January 1, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires all states to provide continuous eligibility for children ages 18 and under who get their healthcare through Medicaid (MO HealthNet) or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Unless the child meets an exception, the Family Support Division (FSD) may not terminate the child’s healthcare eligibility during their 12-month eligibility period.

MO HealthNet Division
The MO HealthNet Division offers health care coverage for eligible Missourians. If you do not currently have health care coverage through MO HealthNet (Missouri Medicaid), the Family Support Division can help you with your application.
Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)
The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is administered by MO HealthNet and Medicare to provide comprehensive health care, social, recreational, and wellness services to their participants. One of the main goals of PACE is to allow older adults to live safely in their homes instead of nursing facilities. Providers who would like to inquire about becoming a service provider with one of the current PACE organizations (POs), contact the PO directly.
Behavioral Health Youth Targeted Case Management
Behavioral Health Youth Targeted Case Management (TCM) assists eligible children, youth and their families in gaining access to needed psychiatric and psychological treatment, medical, social, educational, vocational, and other supports essential to maximizing the child or youth's adjustment and functioning within a family setting and the community.
Transplant
The MO HealthNet Division provides limited coverage for the transplantation of human organs or bone marrow/stem cell and the medical services related to the transplant, including, but not necessarily limited to, evaluation, treatment, and necessary postoperative care, for the specific procedures.
