MO HealthNet Managed Care allows you to choose your Primary Care Provider. Your Primary Care Provider is the doctor, nurse practitioner, or clinic you call when you need general health care services. Your Primary Care Provider will get to know you, keep track of your medical history, and will refer you to specialists and services (such as laboratory tests) when you need them.

In order to use your Primary Care Provider, they must be enrolled with your MO HealthNet Managed Care health plan.
