The Autism Waiver provides services and supports to children, ages 3 through 18, with autism spectrum disorders to enable them to remain at home with their families. Services included in the Autism Waiver are: assistive technology, behavioral analysis services, community specialist services, environmental accessibility adaptations, person centered strategies consultation, personal assistant, professional assessment and monitoring, in and out-of-home respite, specialized medical equipment and supplies, support broker service and transportation.

The Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities administers this program through an inter-agency agreement with the MO HealthNet Division.
