Welcome to MO HealthNet Managed Care (formerly MC+ Managed Care)
Effective September 1, 1995, the state of Missouri introduced a new health care delivery program called MC+ Managed Care to serve certain MC+ participants that meet specified eligibility criteria. Effective September 1, 2007, MC+ Managed Care became known as MO HealthNet Managed Care.
The goal is to improve the accessibility and quality of health care services for MO HealthNet participants and state aid eligible populations, while reducing the costs of providing that care.
MO HealthNet managed care has been implemented as follows:
- Eastern Region - September 1, 1995
- Central Region - March 1, 1996
- Western Region - January 1, 1997
