What is Crisis Care?
Crisis Care helps parents who may be experiencing a crisis or emergency situation by offering services, including temporary care for children (up until their 18th birthday). Crisis Care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What services are available?
Crisis Care services include, but are not limited to:
- Providing shelter, food, personal care, medical attention, education assistance, transportation, and developmental activities for the child
- Providing or arranging for mediation services for the family
- Participating and completing assessment/treatment planning to help eliminate stress the family is experiencing
- Link families to helpful resources and coordinate services as needed
