Pre-Certification For Medical Services
Pre-certification serves as a utilization management tool, allowing payment for services and procedures that are medically necessary, appropriate and cost-effective without compromising the quality of care to MO HealthNet participants. MHD and Conduent have introduced an electronic health record program. The online tool called CyberAccesssm is available to request or check status of a pre-certification request.
