Training and Outreach
The State Technical Assistance Team (STAT) provides teaching, training and outreach to all members of the multidisciplinary teams who protect children. This includes:
- Prevention, awareness and instruction for the Missouri Child Fatality Review Program (CFRP) and criminal investigations
- Promoting aggressive prosecution as a deterrent to crimes against children
- Training and supporting field-level intervention/investigative community to help improve multidisciplinary teams to protect children
